The conversation around transgender individuals, often referred to under the umbrella term of LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning, and others), has become increasingly prominent in today's society. This visibility has led to greater awareness but also to challenges and controversies. Among these conversations, the term "ladyboy" is sometimes used, particularly in Southeast Asian contexts, to refer to transgender women or those who are perceived as male-to-female.
This research employed a qualitative approach, analyzing online content and social media platforms where "extreme ladyboy" communities congregate. Online forums, YouTube channels, and social media profiles were examined to gather data on the self-expression, experiences, and representations of extreme ladyboys. The researcher also conducted a limited number of interviews with individuals who identify as extreme ladyboys, with a focus on their personal stories and motivations. extreme ladyboy alisa full
