Renault canceled the DF104 program in April 1976. Most of the 63 cars were leased to Électricité de France (EDF) and the postal service La Poste . Upon return, nearly all were crushed. Only three authentic "New" models are known to exist today—one at the Conservatoire Renault in Boulogne-Billancourt, one in a private collection in Lyon, and one that was exported to a Japanese museum in 1988. renault df104 new
