The story follows Corky (Gina Gershon), an ex-convict working as a maintenance worker in a Chicago apartment building. She meets Violet (Jennifer Tilly), the girlfriend of a hot-headed mobster named Caesar (Joe Pantoliano). The two women begin a secret affair and devise a high-stakes plan to steal $2 million from the mafia and frame Caesar for the theft.
